The Hollywood (along with Academy Theater, Cinema 21, Cinemagic, Laurelhurst Theater, Living Room Theaters, and Broadway Metro in Eugene) will be requiring proof of complete COVID-19 vaccination (or a negative test result) prior to entry.

We will accept any of the following:

  • your physical card verifying full vaccination
  • a clear, legible photo of your vaccination card
  • a digital vaccination record
  • a negative result from a COVID-19 test (PCR only; test must have been taken within 72 hours)
You may also be asked to show your photo ID along with proof of vaccination.

Children under 12 who cannot yet be vaccinated may attend accompanied by a fully-vaccinated adult.

If you arrive at the theatre without proof of vaccination, you will be denied entry. Refunds can be issued by emailing with your name, time/date of screening, and Hollywood member number if applicable.

In addition, masks are required for all audience members in the building, including in your seat when not actively eating or drinking.

We've also upgraded the filtration in our HVAC systems, and most of our screenings are currently at 75% capacity. Some screenings will be at 100% and, if so, the page for that event will note that.

As a community-based organization, requiring proof of vaccination is the right step to protect our audiences and staff. We believe steps like these are vital to the ongoing survival of the Hollywood and other theaters. In order to feel comfortable returning to theaters in pre-pandemic numbers, audiences need to feel safe going to the movies and to know that their health and well-being is being prioritized.

We can't wait to see you back at the Hollywood!
