7th Heaven with Live Organ

Series: Pipe Organ Pictures

Winner of 3 Academy Awards!

In Paris, in the early years of the twentieth century, a street cleaner saves a young woman's life, and the pair slowly fall in love until war intervenes.

The N.Y. Evening Telegram described 7TH HEAVEN as "the eighth wonder of the movie world... inspiring from start to finish. If you don't see it you've seen nothing in the moving picture line."

In 1928, it was the first film to play at the Hollywood Theatre with a soundtrack printed on the film. Following the success of 7TH HEAVEN, Janet Gaynor and Charles Farrell made another 10 films together.

Live musical accompaniment by Dean Lemire on the Beverly Ruth Nelson Organ.
