Beetlejuice

The Hollywood Theatre celebrates 30 years of BEETLEJUICE, BEETLEJUICE, BEETLEJUICE! This terrifying two-night engagement is free for Members on Tuesday, October 30, and, as a Halloween treat on Wednesday, October 31, will be accompanied by pre-show tarot readings and more spooky hijinks followed by a live séance in the auditorium!

Directed by Tim Burton, 1988’s BEETLEJUICE follows Adam and Barbara Maitland (Alec Baldwin and Geena Davis) after a freak car accident finds them haunting their own home. Together they seek the help of “bio-exorcist” Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton) to banish the gentrifying Deetz family before their beloved farmhouse gets turned into New York’s trendiest new summer art center. Featuring iconic starring turns from Catherine O’Hara and Winona Ryder as Delia and Lydia Deetz, BEETLEJUICE celebrates a campy and colorful otherworld where art is dangerous, family is chosen, women call the shots, and outsiders can proudly proclaim: “I myself am strange and unusual.”
