The Thanksgiving slasher BLOOD RAGE returns for Mondo Trasho’s Black Friday tradition!
In this spectacular gorefest that doesn’t skimp on the cranberry sauce, matriarch Maddy (Louise Lasser) eats food straight from the refrigerator on the floor after learning one of her twin sons (Mark Soper) has violently escaped from the institution and is headed home for a bloody reunion.
Originally filmed in 1983 alongside similarly unhinged slasher stand-outs like SLEEPAWAY CAMP and CURTAINS but not released until 1987, and presented in a beautiful digital restoration that perfectly spotlights killer ‘80s fashion and special effects, BLOOD RAGE offers unadulterated splatter and high camp from Lasser’s brilliantly absurdist performance to all the Thanksgiving carving that follows.
