Cabin Boy

Series: Mondo Trasho

Mondo Trasho marks twenty-five years of CABIN BOY with a 35mm presentation! Touted as “the contentious classic that angered a nation” by Kino Lorber, 1994’s CABIN BOY stars Chris Elliott (SNL, Schitt’s Creek) as Nathaniel Mayweather, a wealthy nightmare of a fop who boards the wrong boat for Hawaii and finds himself on a screwball sea-faring odyssey with sailors, shark-men, and six-armed goddesses. Co-written by Elliott and director Adam Resnick, produced by Tim Burton, and co-starring Melora Walters, Brian Doyle-Murray, Andy Richter, and Ricki Lake as the ship’s mast, CABIN BOY is a surreal testament to ‘90s trash that is only now beginning to be seen for what it truly is: a surreal testament to ‘90s trash, and a hilarious and bizarre one at that.
