Set in the Mexican town of Santa Clara, DÍA DE LOS MUERTOS follows Salma, a 16-year-old orphan who has never met her biological parents. Believing that they abandoned her at an early age, Salma has spent most of her life searching out clues for her parents' identity. One day, she discovers a book that is filled with stories of Santa Clara and the history of its people. With this special book, Salma sets off on an adventure with her foster brothers to find the missing links to her family's heritage.
