Endless Poetry

The new film from Alejandro Jodorowsky (EL TOPO, HOLY MOUNTAIN).

ENDLESS POETRY is Jodorowsky's examination of his young adulthood in Santiago, Chile, in the 1940s and '50s. The film explores every facet of the artistic process and the methods by which a son tears himself from the clutches of his family. The director confronts his own familial connections - and himself - by casting his son as the young Jodorowsky and casting the same actress as both his mother and his lover, the poet Stella Díaz. The film is at once surreal, profane, gorgeous, and utterly Freudian and Felliniesque.
