Mondo Trasho gets into NOTHING BUT TROUBLE (1991) for its 30th anniversary! When road-tripping Manhattan elites (Demi Moore & Chevy Chase) run a stop sign in the small town of Valkenvania, they find themselves subjected to a bizarre trial by the sadistic, 106-year-old judge Alvin Valkenheiser (Dan Akroyd) after being arrested (by John Candy, in a dual role as the Chief of Police and Akroyd's mute granddaughter) and detained in Valkenheiser's backwoods mansion. Described as a bad sketch comedy riff on THE TEXAS CHAIN SAW MASSACRE and featuring an impromptu rap performance by Digital Underground, NOTHING BUT TROUBLE marks both Dan Akroyd's directorial debut and his sole directorial credit—it's the kind of indisputably and indubitably terrible trash that has to be seen to be believed.
