Discover Oregon's rich heritage of brilliant animators, from the golden age of Hollywood to today's living masters.

Dennis Nyback of the Oregon Cartoon Institute will dig into his archive of rare 16mm and 32mm celluloid treasures for this journey into our cinematic past. In the introduction he'll provide historical context and an overview of key figures. After the films, Dennis will answer questions from the audience. The anthology includes short films by innovators such as Carl Barks, Pinto Colvig, Joanna Priestley, Joan Gratz, Bill Plympton, Rose Bond, Matt Groening and others.
