Outside the Frame: Mygration

Mygration: stories of migration by Latinx and homeless youth. Outside the Frame’s annual Gala showcases a stunning collection of shorts by and about invisible communities in plain sight, from a young Honduran trans woman who walked to Oregon to houseless folks forced to migrate in their own hometown. Kathy Oliver, Executive Director Emeritus of Outside In, will be presented with a lifetime achievement award.

Outside the Frame trains homeless and marginalized youth to be directors of their own films and lives. Named Portland Monthly’s 2018 “Best New Nonprofit,” Outside the Frame shows that homeless youth are a critical asset to our community.
