The Hollywood Theatre’s bimonthly program QUEER HORROR and hostess with the grossest Carla Rossi join forces with the Ghost with the Most for Beetlejuice, Beetlejuice, BEETLEJUICE in 35mm! This Halloween scream opens with a special preshow set to get the whole audience jumping the line all the way to the afterlife.

Directed by Tim Burton, 1988’s BEETLEJUICE follows Adam and Barbara Maitland (Alec Baldwin & Geena Davis) after a sudden car accident leaves them haunting their own home. Soon these two fledgling ghosts seek the help of “bio-exorcist” Beetlejuice (Michael Keaton) to banish the well-to-do Deetzes before their once-quaint farmhouse gets turned into New York’s trendiest new summer art center. Featuring iconic starring turns from Catherine O’Hara & Winona Ryder as Delia and Lydia Deetz – and out actor Glenn Shadix as the unapologetically-in-your-face queer psychic interior designer Otho – BEETLEJUICE celebrates a campy and colorful otherworld where art is dangerous, family is chosen, women call the shots, and outsiders can proudly proclaim: “I myself am strange and unusual…”
