In a future where citizenship is only granted in exchange for military service, high school quarterback Johnny Rico (Casper Van Dien) enlists with his friends Carmen Ibanez (Denise Richards), Dizzy Flores (Dina Meyer), and Carl Jenkins (Neil Patrick Harris) to do their part in a gruesome and never-ending war with intergalactic Bugs.
Co-starring genre legend Michael Ironside and based on the book by Robert A.
