The Trial

A new restoration of Orson Welles' 1962 surreal masterpiece (Welles considered this to be his best film).

Anthony Perkins stars as a man arrested and forced to stand trial for an unspecified crime. As he plunges deeper into the nightmarish scenario, he has a series of bizarre, surreal encounters, and ultimately begins doubting his own innocence. Adapted from the novel by Franz Kafka, and co-starring Jeanne Moreau, Romy Schneider and Orson Welles.
