Series: Stage Meets Screen

Artists Repertory Theatre’s Stage Meets Screen series, in conjunction with their new production of George Orwell’s 1984, presents Terry Gilliam’s dystopian masterpiece BRAZIL on 35mm!

BRAZIL (1985) finds Sam Lowry (Jonathon Pryce) working a meaningless job in a totalitarian society overrun with bureaucracy, consumerism, and dysfunctionally ubiquitous machines. When he meets the woman of his literal daydreams (Kim Greist) while investigating the wrongful imprisonment and death of an innocent man, Sam finds himself swept into the resistance in this bleak Orwellian satire. Co-starring Robert DeNiro, Katherine Helmond, Michael Palin, Bob Hoskins and Ian Holm.

Guest passes accepted.
