(1988) Based on the autobiography of primatologist and conservationist Dian Fossey about her work studying Rwandan mountain gorillas for nearly two decades, the film stars Sigourney Weaver and was nominated for five Academy Awards.
Post-film discussion with special guest Steven Wise, renowned animal protection lawyer, founder and President of the NonHuman Rights Project. The NhRP works to secure fundamental rights and legal protections for nonhuman animals.
