SAMURAI REBELLION (1967): A renowned samurai (Toshiro Mifune) faces the wrath of his clan when he shows disobedience for what he sees as an injustice. When the ruling lord forces his daughter and the samurai's son into marriage, the two fall in love despite all expectations. However, when the callous ruler orders his daughter's return only two years later, the samurai refuses to see his son and daughter-in-law torn apart,and prepares to fight for the young couple, even as the lord's army descends upon him.
