The Company of Wolves

Series: Stage Meets Screen

This is part of Feminist March 2019

Artists Repertory Theatre's series Stage Meets Screen, in conjunction with their on-stage production of Wolf Play and the Hollywood’s Feminist March programming, presents THE COMPANY OF WOLVES in 35mm!

Directed by Neil Jordan (THE CRYING GAME, INTERVIEW WITH THE VAMPIRE) and written by Angela Carter after her story of the same name, 1984’s THE COMPANY OF WOLVES follows young Rosaleen (Sarah Patterson) whose dreams are haunted by werewolves. But as the dreaming Rosaleen makes her way through a dark forest to find her grandmother (Angela Lansbury), she finds herself experiencing an animal-like attraction to a huntsman she meets along the way. Also starring Stephen Rea, THE COMPANY OF WOLVES is a lavish, unlikely horror fantasy that turns the Little Red Riding Hood myth inside out.
