Wyrd War presents Wes Craven’s terrifying thriller THE HILLS HAVE EYES (1977) with legendary actor Michael Berryman in attendance!

A vacationing suburban family becomes embroiled in a brutal fight for survival against a clan of feral cannibals after their car crashes on an isolated desert road. Wes Craven was a brilliant horror visionary capable of camouflaging complex philosophical quandaries in rudimentary exploitation storylines, and with his second film he tackled the primordial clash between the forces of Order and Chaos! Loosely based on the 16th Century Scottish degenerate Alexander "Sawney" Bean, who lived in a seaside cave with his incestuous intergenerational family and was responsible for the disappearance of countless travelers, THE HILLS HAVE EYES is a savagely entertaining and deceptively intelligent horror film that poses unsettling questions about the very fragile proposition that is civilization.

Wyrd War’s Dennis Dread will moderate a Q&A with Michael Berryman after the film!
