Chris Walas won the Academy Award for 'Best Makeup' for his incredible work in David Cronenberg's THE FLY in 1987. He's also known for creating the titular creatures in GREMLINS, and for being involved with the effects in the climactic scene of Steven Spielberg's RAIDERS OF THE LOST ARK.
